Album: Rose Hotel - A Pawn Surrender
If you love Indie Rock but want it a little more vibey, a little more psychedelic, check out Rose Hotel. Jordan Reynolds is an Atlanta-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, and her music sounds like The Last Dinner Party and Jonathan Wilson made sweet love and had a baby. A Pawn Surrender is a perfect album from start to finish. (“King and Pawn” is my personal favorite from this album.) PS: She also has a Substack!

Artist: Bored at My Grandmas House
Staying in the Indie Rock universe—think Lucy Dacus, Snail Mail—the award for most creative artist name goes to: Bored at My Grandmas House (take that, Tennis!). BAMGH is the project of Leeds-based singer-songwriter Amber Strawbridge. She just released her debut album on June 7 and collaborated with local artist Niamh Cawdell to craft the visual world for her music.

Song: Thaïs Ray - Walk Me Home
I featured Thaïs Ray in my last 3 under 30k - Pt 2., when she released her debut single “Lights Are Dancing”. Her new track, “Walk Me Home”, a soft Pop ballad with her characteristic Soul influences, is just as beautiful.
Great recs💛. Will enjoy them on a long drive today.
